About Us

What is Focus Physicians Group PLLC?

Focus Physicians Group PLLC is a Texas-licensed physician group practice (PLLC — Professional Limited Liability Company) headquartered at 5800 Campus Cir Dr, Suite 200A, Irving, TX 75063. We employ and coordinate board-certified physicians across emergency medicine, primary care, internal medicine, and urgent care, providing clinical coverage to facilities and patients across the DFW area.

Is Focus Physicians Group a hospital or a clinic?

We are a physician group practice, not a hospital or a standalone clinic. A physician group is a legal practice entity that employs physicians and manages their clinical deployment. Our physicians work at hospitals, freestanding emergency rooms, clinic facilities, and other healthcare settings across the DFW metroplex.

Where is Focus Physicians Group located?

Our headquarters is at 5800 Campus Cir Dr, Suite 200A, Irving, TX 75063, in the Las Colinas corridor. Our physicians serve patients and facilities throughout Irving, TX, the broader DFW metroplex, and Texas.

Are your physicians board certified?

Emergency & Urgent Care

What is the difference between urgent care and an emergency room?

An emergency room (ER) is equipped to handle life-threatening conditions, severe trauma, chest pain, stroke, major injuries, and other acute emergencies. Urgent care centers treat non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention — such as minor injuries, infections, or illness — but do not require full emergency department resources. Our physicians are experienced in both settings.

When should I go to an ER vs. urgent care?

Go to the ER for chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe trauma, stroke symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, or any life-threatening emergency. Urgent care is appropriate for flu symptoms, minor cuts, sprains, urinary tract infections, and similar non-emergency conditions. When in doubt, the emergency room is the safer choice.

Does Focus Physicians Group staff freestanding emergency rooms in Texas?

Yes. Our emergency medicine physicians have experience staffing freestanding emergency rooms as well as hospital-based emergency departments across the DFW area.
